Dutch: Introduction

Dutch (Nederlands) is a language which comes from the Netherlands and is the country’s official language. It is also spoken in the northern half of Belgium and in the South American country of Suriname. About 22 million people around the world speak Dutch. Dutch uses the same alphabet as English.

In the Dutch category, you will soon be able to find more content regarding the Dutch language (spelling, grammar, etc.) but on special occasions (for example when it is Koningsdag (27th of April, national holiday in The Netherlands), a blog post about it will be written to inform you what it is, why is it celebration and what it stands for, and so on. There’s a wide range of possible stuff coming on here. Stay tuned.
